Home Energy Audit

  • On site visual evaluation of your home's structure, insulation, heating & cooling systems, water heating system, windows, doors, major appliances, lighting, and other related items.
  • Blower Door test using a calibrated fan system designed to identify air leaks and determine the proper amount of ventilation needed for your home. May include a separate Duct Blaster test to identify dominant duct leakage?
  • Computer generated report itemizing opportunities to save energy, and increase comfort specific to your home and circumstance. The report will show what needs to be done, an estimated cost, and the expected savings, giving you the ability to consider the cost-effectiveness of each suggested improvement.

Blower Door Test

  • On site visual evaluation of your home's structure.

  • Identification of hidden air leak areas.
  • Recommendations on sealing air leaks.

  • Visual evaluation of home's insulation
  • Recommendations on improving quality, location, insulation value, and type.

Window Evaluation

  • Visual evaluation of home's windows
  • Recommendations on improving weatherstripping, caulking, insulation value, and replacement

Electric Usage Evaluation

  • Inventory of your home's electrical appliances and lighting
  • Evaluation of usage and electric bill
  • Recommendations on reducing electric usage and hot water
